Disclosure under § 25 of the Austrian Media Act (Mediengesetz, MedienG) and information under § 5 of the Austrian E-Commerce Act (ECG). The media owner within the meaning of the Media Act and the service provider within the meaning of the ECG is the company named below. § 5 para 1 no. 4 ECG asks for a company-register number and registering court; the company is not in the Austrian company register but in the Bulgarian commercial register, which is named below in its place. A supervisory authority under no. 5 and a chamber membership under no. 6 do not apply to this offer; those items are omitted rather than shown as empty fields.

Business object
The object of this website is to provide a free, purely informational online calculator for wages and salaries in Austria. The calculator illustrates how an approximate net amount follows from a gross amount after social-insurance contributions and income tax, how special payments (holiday and Christmas pay) are taxed at the favourable rate, and how collective-agreement minimum wages shape the pay within a sector. No paid services are offered and no contracts are concluded through this website.
Basic orientation (grundlegende Richtung)
The basic orientation within the meaning of § 25 of the Media Act is plain-language, independent information about how an Austrian wage and salary statement is put together. The website pursues no party-political, ideological or commercial special interests; it simply aims to make clear how gross pay, deductions and net pay relate to one another. All rates and amounts are taken from named primary sources and are cited where they appear; the results are estimates and replace neither tax nor employment-law advice.
